Under Armour Run Heatgear Short Sleeve Tee Review
We recently reviewed the Under Armour EU Tee which is a great all round top, so were interested to see what these more specialist running tees would be like.
The Under Armour Run Heatgear tops are available in a wide variety of colours, and bright ones at that, means you’ll be visible on the road whilst running.
The fabric has that more classic ‘synthetic’ ‘technical’ feel, which while not unpleasant, isn’t as comfy as the Under Armour EU tee. The fit is also more ‘active’ as it’s often euphemistically called, (breathe in) meaning it might not be so flattering if you’re carrying any excess weight (and breathe out).
We used this for runs and walks over a couple of months and found they were fine for both activities, if nothing to get really excited about. There are certainly cheaper options out there as well as significantly more expensive ones, so this is firmly in the mid-range bracket but with the high end quality you’d expect from Under Armour.
This is a tee for running, sweating before being unceremoniously throwing in the wash. We just prefer the Under Armour EU tee as a more comfortable, all rounder. The Heatgear is however a workhorse tee which we couldn’t really fault, which is something we all need and depend on in our kit drawer, just nothing to get excited about.
