Lliwedd Scramble up Snowdon From Pen y Pass

Y Lliwedd is a worthy scramble from Pen y Pass in itself, and an even better route up Snowdon! While not as challenging as Crib Goch, or as popular, it is still a fine day out! If time is short, you can climb Lliwedd and descend the same way, which is achievable during a summer evening for a proficient group.

Facilities

There’s a good cafe at Pen y Pass these days, as well as public toilets in the same block. Over the road you’ll find Mallory’s Bar in the Pen y Pass Youth Hostel.

Parking :

LIMITED! £10 a day, £6 for 4 hours. Very early arrival advised. Park in Nant Peris for the Park and Ride

Public Transport:
