Walks on the Nantlle Ridge and Hebog
About Walks on the Nantlle Ridge and Hebog
The Eifionydd hills are the quieter end of Snowdonia. There are only three main hills/ridges which are the Nantlle Ridge, Moel Hebog and Mynydd Mawr. It’s rather difficult to get them all in one walk, but easily done in two and a half days.
The Nantlle Ridge is undoubtedly one of the classic ridge walking routes in Snowdonia. While many will do this with two cars, or even the ‘double’, the more elegant and pleasing option is to return via Cwm Pennant. It boasts a string of summits along it’s length, with Y Garn, Mynydd Drws y Coed, Trum y Ddysgl, Tal y Mignedd, Craig Cwm Silyn, Garnedd Goch and Mynydd Graig Goch all found along its length.
