The Mud and Routes Christmas Hamper Give-away!
As a thank you to you, the loyal Mud and Routes readers, for your support during the year, we’re looking to give one of you a special Mud and Routes Christmas Hamper.
We’ve brought together a select few items into the Mud and Routes Christmas Hamper, from previously reviewed items/featured producers on the site, as well as other items from individually identified producers listed below. A special thank you to all those who have been generous enough to contribute.
What’s in the Christmas Hamper?
Hand made, or rather laser cut by Debbie Slater of Alp and Ash, these beautiful coasters are a 1:25000 accurate contour map of the National Three Peaks. What better way to rest any walker’s well earned whisky, pannad (cuppa!) or even post workout shake?!
We reviewed this True Mountain item back in May and it got an overall Mud and Routes A rating. No surprise being super stretchy, windproof and water resistant, highly breathable jacket for fast moving mountain sports. Keep an aye out as this British producer goes from strength to strength.
Jack Wolfskin Dry N Cosy Long Tight
These Light (140 g) long johns are warm for the winter, or cool in Summer.
It’s comfortably soft, stretchy and naturally odour-resistant. It also regulates moisture, quickly wicking it away to the exterior, where it can evaporate rapidly.
Jack Wolfskin Dry N Cosy T
If you’ve got the long johns then we can’t let you go without the T can we!
The material is very light, stretchy and naturally odour-resistant. It delivers basic heat retention in winter and keeps you cool in the summer.
We’re big fans of Terra Nova and the Extremities range, which is especially designed to protect head, hand and foot from the elements.
A handy beanie in a lightweight stretch, thermal fabric that can be worn under a helmet, on its own or layered on colder conditions.
As we recently revealed, the UK mapping giant have now added a free digital map download with each paper copy purchase. They’ve kindly offered the winner two OS Explorer series maps of your choice!
Ascendancy Apparel Adventure Awaits Hoodie
Stay snug and warm with Ascendancy Apparel‘s ‘adventure awaits’ hoodie. We hope to get our hands on some more gear from this fresh company based in the Lakes in the new year, so keep an eye out!
The double-lined hood with matching drawstring will keep you warm on those cooler days and its twin-needle stitching throughout enhances durability.
