All I want for Christmas 9 This House
THIS house in Nant Gwynant £225,000 -or nearest offer!
Who’d not want to live at the bottom of the South Ridge Path from Nant Gwynant? With three obvious routes up Snowdon, and a couple of less obvious ones, you’d have one of the more picturesque sides of Snowdon on your doorstep. If you fancy a change, then a few Kms walking will get you to Pen y Pass or Pen y Gwryd for the routes there, or in the opposite direction you have Beddgelert and Moel Hebog.
Even from your doorstep you’ve the choice of heading south for the wilder bound of the Moelwyion, the unexplored south side of Yr Aran or the route up Moel y Dyniewyd for one of the most spectaular views in Snowdonia.
The location for this house is everything, but for the record it comes with 4 bedrooms (and you know you’ll be popular at the weekend), the usual kitchen, three reception rooms and a sizeable rear garden. It’s even got it’s own parking space, so no need to go putting signs up and proclaiming that there’s only local parking for local people.
You’ve also got the wonderful Gwynant cafe down the road, and excellent village inns down in Beddgelert. But the selling point for me is that you’d be just close enough to become a regular at the Pen y Gwryd, and what beer loving hill walker wouldn’t want that?
