Ideal Stocking Fillers – Cyclists
Buying for the avid cyclist isn’t always easy – as for one thing they’ll probably have all the kit they need already. All is not lost however, and hopefully you should be able to find at least one gift from the following list that would make the perfect stocking filler.
1. Multi Cycle Kit
These little kits are small, useful and affordable. They contain lots of essential pieces including Ring Wrenches, a screwdriver and inner tube rubber, all you would need to fix a tyre, brake or any other problem that may come a cyclists way. Pick up a 30 in 1 kit for £7.99 from Menkind.
2. Cateye Rear LED LightÂ
Cateye lighting systems for bicycles have an excellent reputation for a reason, mainly quality and value for money. As the days get shorter and the nights get longer, lights are critical for safe cycling in the dark and this rear LED light from Cateye should do the job just fine. Pick one up from Amazon here and stay safe for £25.
3. Handle Grips
These Race Face Sniper Lock On Grips are designed to be comfortable and give great grip with or without gloves. They come in various eye-catching colours too. They are a little on the steep side at £26, but shop around on ebay and you may find yourself a better deal.
4. Platypus Hydration System
I was first introduced to the Platypus hydration system whilst on a Duke of Edinburgh walk and since then I’ve used one myself for all kinds of activities such as hiking, kayaking and cycling. It’s ideal because as you don’t need your hands to take a drink you won’t compromise your personal best time by having to stop and get your (now obsolete) bottle out the bag. You can find a platypus over on amazon for around £17.
