Birchen Edge and Chatsworth House from Near Baslow

This is a route that has a bit of everything. Setting off from the Robin Hood near Baslow, over the gritstone of Birchen Edge provides the hill fix. Then there are three pubs in Baslow, though it would probably be unwise to patronise all three on the walk, ensuring the thirst is slaked. Finally passing the Palace of the Peak – Chatsworth House – for a bit of history and sight seeing.

Just for good measure, it also ends at a pub (the Robin Hood)
