Avenue Verte – England

If you want an international cycling challenge then this has to be on of the best options. Starting from St Pauls in London, it follows off road cycle tracks for most of the duration. Some of these tracks aren’t paved and you may need a hybrid or mountain bike – a burden for some, but much more interest than just a tarmac strip for others. 160km or so gets you to Newhaven for the ferry.
