Snowdonia Society Snowdon Litter Pick

If you’ve got a day off on Friday, 7th October, then you may consider offering your services to the Snowdonia Society who are looking to organise a second annual litter pick.
More than 350,000 people reach the summit of Snowdon each year to enjoy the unrivalled views. Although the charity wants to encourage people to get outdoors and active and enjoy the spectacular landscapes of Snowdonia, the huge number of visitors to Snowdon summit has also led to a significant problem with litter on the mountain.
If you’re interested then they’re looking for volunteers and mountain leaders to help out on the day to clear anything from nappies to champagne bottles, barbecues and discarded clothing.
For more information visit the Snowdonia Society website.
