Cwm Penanmnen and Sarn Helen Walk
The valley of Cwm Penmnen lies to the south of Dolwyddelan and is steep sided and afforested. Through this valley, the Romans chose to build the famous Sarn Helen, which can still be followed over the moors towards Ffestiniog.
Most of this route can be mountain biked and the final section of footpath avoided by taking the minor road.
