Scafell Pike and Scafell via Brown Tongue
This walk to the summit of England’s highest mountain starts from the National Trust Campsite in Wasdale Head and ascends via Brown Tongue. It also takes you over Scafell, though via the walker’s route and not via Broad Stand which requires some climbing skill. It’s then a steady descent via Green How to the start.
