Vango Ultralite Gas Stove Review

When we reviewed the Vango Ultralight Gas Stove we thought that it was a pleasant change to find any item that advertises itself, nay includes it in the name, as lightweight and falls at the lower end of the price scale. This offering from Vango, with flashes of their trademark orange  impress on the scale and proves that it deserves to be named  The Vango Ultralight. It weighs in at a few grams less than the MSR pocket rocket, at only 72g. We like the fact that it’s also rather squat, meaning that your whole setup will be more stable and easier to use in a porch when you have to, and in this country that’s about half the time. That’s especially important if you’re using short 100g canisters as some brands tend to be taller than others and particularly unstable.

It packs down compactly as the arms fold in, so it takes up minimal space in your pack. The stove is available for around £20 and if you’re on a budget comes highly recommended.
