The Beast’s Tip of the Week – Carrying a Jacket without a waistpack

Tying a jacket around your waist leads to more frustration and overheating than just wearing the thing in the first place and getting sweaty. Here’s a quick and easy solution for when you may need to carry it around your waist.

You will need – one webbing belt, plus coat to attach to it! Ok, so it’s very similar to carrying a coat with a waist pack, but it only just dawned on us that you could do the same with a simple webbing belt as well.

As simple as that. You could use your HRM at a pinch, but obviously not as a HRM at the same time.

You will need a pocket of sorts to carry it in the first place, unless you’re happy to wear it anyway.
