The Wirral Way Cycletrack

The Wirral Way is a converted railway line that allows you to cycle or walk from Hooton near Ellesmere Port to West Kirby on the Wirrall Peninsula. As it starts and ends at a railway station, you can catch a train back to the start (you will need to check locally if they allow bikes) or ride the trail both ways.

Some sections have been laid out with sand for riders and it’s traffic free all the way.
