The Panorama Walk – Barmouth

A nice steady route from Barmouth that ensures you get a superb view over both the Mawddach Estuary and across it to Cadair Idris.

If you want a walk from Barmouth that’s not too challenging, yet provides a lot for the effort, then the Panorama walk does just that. Starting off from the Station, you’re soon uphill and at the first proper viewpoint.

You can cut the route short at this point, or continue upwards to Bwlch y Llan at just over 300m and exchange the views of the Mawddach for those up the Ardudwy coast and onwards to Pen Llyn.
