Moel Eilio and Yr Wyddfa from Llanberis

If you want the real tough ascent of Snowdon from Llanberis, then this has to be it.

You ascend the Eilio ridge initially before descending to the Ranger Path either directly or over Moel Cynghorion.

The final descent is down the Llanberis path, though a much better alternative would be down and over y Lliwedd to Pen y Pass.
