Mach 2 Mountain Bike Trail Details

Another route from Machynlleth by www.dyfimountainbiking.org.uk who also have loads of useful information for anyone wishing to mountain bike in the area. The route is waymarked, and mainly along quiet country lanes. Similar to the first route, but with a little more trail and only a short return along the main road making it a much better proposition in our opinion!

The Route follows the NCR 8 south from the historic town of Machynlleth towards the village of Forge. There’s much more cross country cycling now, with only a few km on dreaded tarmac. When you finally reach the A487, you’ve only a few mins to the end.

For more challenge – do the Mach 3, now that one does sound like a razor blade!
