Eryri Way Coast To Coast Challenge

A 70km challenge through the Eryri hills, passing over no tops but following the ancient passes. Starting in Penrhyndeudraeth on the Dwyryd, via Beddgelert and Capel Curig and finally the flanks of the Carneddau to arrive in Conwy and a pint on the harbour front.

The Route This is a challenge walk! Start in Penrhyndeudraeth and yomp all the way to Conwy.
Possible in a very hard day, but more likely as a weekend 2 day walk, camping somewhere between Dolwyddelan and Capel Curig in order to make the route manageable.
Remote in places, but reasonably easy to follow, this is a route you can largely put your head down and get going.
Hopefully, when we do this route again this month, the roads won’t be flooded like they were two years ago and we wont need to wade knee deep roads above Trefriw.
We’ll add some more images of this years’ challenge start of December.

If you wanted to do something high level, then you could follow the Cambrian Way from Maentwrog to Conwy, or follow this route from Maentwrog to Capel Curig and reverse this route to continue on to Conwy over the Carneddau.
