Chapel Stile And Great Langdale Low Level Walk

This Great Langdale low level walk offers a respite from the higher Langdale summits of the Langdale Pikes and Bowfell. Starting off from Chapel Stile, the walk takes the Cumbrian Way along the Great Langdale Beck for a couple of kilometres. Views towards the Langdale Pikes dominate. It’s then across the valley and to complete the circuit through Baysbrown Wood and back to Chapel Stile.

You could also extend the walk into Elterwater and follow the Cumbria Way back to the start.
