Bwlch y Ddeufaen Llanfairfechan Upland Walk

A short walk into the hills that can still feel pretty remote and desolate, though you’re never more than a few Km from civilisation. Setting off from the end of the Valley Road, you’re practically on the hill already. The walk takes you up along the stream and up to the Roman road at Bwlch y Ddeufaen. You’re at over 400m and this can be an inhospitable location in foul weather.

Returning along this ancient road, the navigation is made easy with the signpost and a downhill return to the start.
