Horse Head Moor and Birks Fell Walk

FavoriteLoadingAdd to my Favourites

A walk to one of the ‘new’ mountains – Birks Fell – that was resurveyed to be 610m high in 2006 and supplanting Horse Head moor as the highest point on this ridge.

All that pedantry aside, they both make a good moorland walk and a natural circuit from Upper Wharfedale in the Yorshire Dales.
