from the very lovely Eryi page … but now I am not sure where to go next …I am looking for some guidance on camping & walking out of the Barmouth area … but I have one key limiting factor … and he is about yay high and trips over constantly in heather!!

I appreciate that ”advertising” wild camps may be a problem, but can the route be completed in the main by wild camping? happy to receive hints of where!

Hi Bob. You can easily camp on the end of the 1st day around Bwlch Ehediad (I’ve camped recently on the summit of Carnedd y Cribau around 1km from the route – or at Llynnau Ddiwaunydd).
If you want a shorter day 1, then you could explore the area towards Cnicht (recommended spot – Llynnau Cerrig y Myllt – 2/3km extra).You can then camp above…[Read more]
