      I appreciate that ”advertising” wild camps may be a problem, but can the route be completed in the main by wild camping? happy to receive hints of where!

        Hi Bob. You can easily camp on the end of the 1st day around Bwlch Ehediad (I’ve camped recently on the summit of Carnedd y Cribau around 1km from the route – or at Llynnau Ddiwaunydd).
        If you want a shorter day 1, then you could explore the area towards Cnicht (recommended spot – Llynnau Cerrig y Myllt – 2/3km extra).
