Pete Barrar, a former academic and beekeeper for nearly 25 years, will give an informative presentation on the history and current practice of beekeeping in the area, including the exciting plans for the Welsh honeybee at Ty Hyll and the National Beekeeping Centre for Wales CIC, of which he is a founding Director. Pete will also bring some of his own honey for tasting after the presentation. This evening event will be at the Royal Oak Hotel in Betws y Coed, where members receive a 10% discount on accommodation.
