The Shropshire hills are a convenient get away if you want a hilly walk but the mountains of Snowdonia and the Lakes are too far to travel for the weekend. Here’s a bit of a tough route for such a short walk, as you’ll have to go over the hill twice! With any luck, the Powis Arms will be open in  Lydbury North for refreshments half way around!
