A Walk to Llyn Llygad Rheidol on Pumlumon

Pumlumon is a wild and remote hill, but this route tames it somewhat. Not ascending to the summit, it instead takes in the western Cwm Llygad Rheidol and the mountain’s most rugged side.

Ascending a good reservoir track makes it an easy enough approach, though the descent northwards might find some sections wet underfoot. For an easier option, descend from the lake the same way, though you’ll be missing out on the remote Cwm Hyddgen by doing so.
